Friday Fives

Whats harder to live without, chocolate or fried food?

fried food. I mean, chocolate is great and all, but if it were deep fried… then we would have something.
Does the color yellow remind you of anything?

I think my feelings could best be expressed by a song lyric from Jimi Hendrix called ‘Bold as Love’

Blue are the life-giving
waters taken for granted,
They quietly understand
Once happy turquoise armies lay opposite ready,
But wonder why the fight is on
But they’re all bold as love, yeah,
they’re all bold as love
Yeah, they’re all bold as love
Just ask the axis

My red is so confident that he
flashes trophies of war,
and ribbons of euphoria
Orange is young, full of daring,
But very unsteady for the first go round
My yellow in this case is not so mellow
In fact I’m trying to say it’s frigthened like me
And all these emotions of mine
keep holding me from, eh,
Giving my life to a rainbow like you
But, I’m eh , yeah, I’m bold as love

Who most annoyed you last week?

I was on vacation in Florida last week. Ain’t nothing keep me down out there. A week of relaxing and sun and beach and our own swimming pool. No schedule, no obligations… nothing. A true vacation in every sense.
Do you have a cutesy romantic nickname for your partner (or previous partners)?

I call her ‘buddy’, because she is first and foremost by best friend.
What is your favorite Stephen King movie?

don’t really have one. Misery was great, of course. Enjoyed Maximum Overdrive, just because of the Ac/Dc soundtrack. The Stand could have been the greatest story ever told. However, it was made for tv and so was a bit of a let down. The story needed more explosions, swearing, and nudity from Laura San Giacomo. Plus, I felt the character of Randall Flag was poorly cast. I really enjoyed the recent Johnny Depp movie with Turturro. The one about him being in the cabin and going crazy as a writer. Though that may not have been a Steven King movie, on many levels, it was every Steven King movie.
