What’s the best thing about being awake when the rest of the world seems to be sleeping?
everything. Mostly because at night it is my own agenda. Work is asleep, wife is asleep… there is no one asking or telling me what to do. I work for myself!
Where can you go when you get a case of the late-night munchies?
The kegerator in the garage. I keep meat in the freezer. Having an extra freezer (due to the kegerator) means when meat is on sale I can stock up. As long as I have meat, I can cook anything.
What open-all-night establishment has saved you from catastrophe, and what were the circumstances?
Some comedian made a great point. ATM’s should not be open at 3 am. Absolutely no good can come from pulling out $500 at 3 am.
What’s the worst thing about being awake when the rest of the world seems to be sleeping?
Nothing at all. My mom used to say “but when you stay up all night, you are wasting the day.” My take was, and is, “but when you sleep all night, you waste the night.” At that, we agreed to disagree.
When you are up all night at home for whatever reason, what’s most likely to be on the television to keep you company?
Well, I love the DVR. I stockpile shows I like and keep them on the DVR, since I rarely have time to watch tv normally. So, I always have a batch of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Pawn Stars, and Tosh.0 ready for me. Also, I love that Gold Rush show. I never miss it.
